Summer Options
Family School and Salt Box School offer ten-month or twelve-month enrollment contracts. When your family chooses to spend the summer at 3570 Main Street – exciting things happen! For eight weeks in the summer, our intimate year round community blossoms into a much larger team of educators and children comprised of an additional sixty-five seasonal camp staff who work with older campers’ ages six to sixteen in our Brewster Day Camp programs. Our pool opens for daily Red Cross swim lessons taught by our own certified Water Safety Instructors who offer Infant Swim Lessons through Level Six Lessons. Children ages four and older enjoy afternoon free swims in our pool. From 5:00-6:00pm daily our pool is open and lifeguarded – free of charge to our families during Family Swim. Bring a picnic and enjoy our campus in the warm summer evenings Monday through Friday. In the summer, our pre-school and pre-kindergarten age children experience archery, art, theater, hikes, sports, special event days, and so much more! Each Friday morning, we offer two age appropriate community Assemblies to which family and friends are invited to join us singing songs and watching presentations of all that has happened that week in the summer.
